About Our Camp

Pouch Day Camp is a camp for Boys and Girls going into grades 2-6, camp runs from Monday to Friday from 9am till 4pm, with the option of early drop-off (7am) and late pick-up (6pm) for an additional fee. Campers receive two t-shirts, daily snack and juice, and Friday BBQ. Lunch must be provided by parent or guardian. The camp is accredited by the Boy Scouts of America and is regularly inspected by the New York City Department of Health. Children are supervised by well-trained counselors and National Camp School Certified program directors. All staff is trained to meet the standards of the Boy Scouts of America and the Board of Health.

 

 

About Our Facilities

William H. Pouch Scout Camp is located in the middle of Staten Island. It is home to 143 acres of woodland area, 17 acres of lake, and miles of nature trails. It is within this outdoor setting that your child will experience an educational and fun-filled experience. Unique to Pouch is the fully stocked seventeen acre Lake Orbach. Aside from an excellent fishing opportunity, the lake is also the center of our aquatics program.
